Swedish Garbage Purification

We are Swedish Garbage Purification, We make energy from waste !

Slide background

Facts

• 1 tonnes of waste give 2,3 MWh energy
• 3 tonnes of waste is the same as 1 ton oil
• 1 person produce 500 kg houshold waste/year ( EU 2010 )
• 50% of the houshold waste is incinerated in Sweden ( Sweden is the leading country )
• The landfill of waste has been reduced by 20 times the last decade in Sweden

Convert an expense into a revenue. Minimize the environment impact

about Swedish Garbage Purification

We have engineers with more than 25 years of experience and we use an engineering network for our projects (including management, design, engineering, environmental considerations up to a turn-over). In our projects we implement ISO technical and environmental standards. Sweden is a leading country in waste recycling and our technology builds on that knowledge and experience.

The process

Energy-from-waste uses solid waste as fuel to generate clean, renewable energy. Waste is processed in combustion chambers where heat is converted to steam and sent through a turbine generator to generate electricity.

The process

• Waste handling
• Waste combustion
• Steam turbine
• Gas cleaning (pollution is 0.01%)
• Electrial generation

Facts for a medium size plant

• Boiler output: 20MW
• Fuel: waste
• Capacity: 7-8 tonnes/hour
• Capacity: 55 000 tonnes/year (a city with 100 000 people)
• Energy production: 165 000 MWh/year (10 000 houses with AC)

Facts for a big size plant

• Boiler output: 80MW
• Fuel: waste
• Capacity: 30 tonnes/hour
• Capacity: 200 000 tonnes/year (a city with 500 000 people)
• Energy production: 550 000 MWh/year (35 000 houses with AC)

Swedish Garbage Purification

What we can do

  • We are involved from the start of operation
  • Pre-planning
  • Project control
  • Start up the organization for operation and maintenance of the plant
  • Start up the organization for collection and transport of the waste

Conditions for the plant

  • Location of the plant is normally at least 10 km from the city
  • The plant needs around 5 acre
  • The plant needs water but it can be a closed loop system
  • Infrastructure as roads and switch board to the electrical grid needs to be built

Operation & Maintenance

  • A crew of 16 people is required for continuous operation.
  • A crew of 8 people is required for planned maintenance and trouble shooting.
  • Advanced trouble shooting is conducted by external service companies.
  • 3-5 trucks are required for the small plant and 8-15 are required for the big plant.
  • The plant needs a standby boiler for oil.
